Gloria Cann Nominated for the 2026 Global Arts Prize for Innovation

Dynamic Works Foundation is proud to announce that its Founder and Executive Director, Mrs. Gloria Cann, has been selected as an Official Nominee for the 2026 Global Arts Prize for Innovation, an international recognition presented by The Global Leaders Institute.

The nomination recognizes individuals who are advancing innovation through creative practice and making a meaningful impact within their communities and beyond.

For Gloria Cann, this nomination reflects years of dedication to empowering adolescents through education, mentorship, storytelling, drama, and more recently, filmmaking. Through Dynamic Works Foundation, she has championed initiatives that encourage young people to discover their talents while pursuing academic excellence.

Among the Foundation’s flagship initiatives are the Adolescent With Talent Summit, mentorship programmes, educational awareness campaigns, and drama productions that address critical social issues affecting young people and communities.

This achievement is also a reflection of the Foundation’s ongoing Shifting The Power journey. Through capacity-strengthening support from STAR-Ghana Foundation and the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI), funded by Comic Relief and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), Dynamic Works Foundation has expanded its impact and strengthened its sustainability.

Gloria’s recent training through Digital Film School Africa on the atingi Platform, supported by GIZ, has further enhanced her ability to use film as a tool for advocacy, education, and social transformation. Additional technical support from PMX Films Foundation and Rankdigital has contributed significantly to the growth of DWF Production, the Foundation’s filmmaking initiative.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to The Global Leaders Institute for this recognition and for highlighting the role of creativity in driving innovation and social impact.

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to our vision of mentoring and supporting talented adolescents while using creative approaches to solve societal challenges.

Congratulations, Gloria Cann! The entire Dynamic Works Foundation family celebrates this well-deserved recognition.
